Miracle Design and Play together with Newbury Town council will soon be opening an exciting new playground in Newbury’s Victoria Park. The premier park is situated in the heart of Newbury’s town centre and this large Play development forms an important part of the regeneration of the area and the town centre. The Newbury 2025 - A Vision for Newbury Town Centre - regeneration of the park will also see a new skate park development, a pavilion cafe, the moving of the boating pond and new floral displays.
The new playground is sure to thrill, as it sees Miracles first Mega tower installed in the UK become the focal point of the park. This impressive tower stands at 25ft with two 14ft slides coming of its highest deck. The system allows there to be 144sqft of decking, maximising the play opportunities, challenges and reward from this one imposing piece. Through its 10ft climbing wall and other climbers it helps develop upper body strength and confidence within the users.
There is an imaginative toddler unit, with a double slide providing excitement and competition and a tunnel slide for discovery. A sand pit with an accessible digger is also sure to excite the younger children attracting them to the playground.
There are many other attractions to draw people to this destination playground, with a cantilever swing allowing children to play alongside one another, along with two new sets of traditional swings. The Rotating dish is a fantastic dynamic piece that creates exciting movement and speed for all ages, while natural wooden stepping post develop new ways for the children to move through the park.
Miracle Design and Play together with Southam Town Council have recently opened an expansive playground, full of exciting and diverse play opportunities, which added to the existing play facilities. The new £94k playground in Park Lane Recreation Ground Is the start of the regeneration of the Recreation ground which is set within a deprived area of Southam, there will also be a future development of Multi Games Area coming soon.
The exciting multi unit forms the central focal point to the playground, its grand scale and challenging range of climbers and its spiral slide excite and inspire the children. The 4m web scape climber flows into the multi unit, allowing the children to explore and discover their limits. There are many other challenges designed into the unit such as the Wavey Wedge Wall Walker finger maze, providing excitement and development.
Set around the multi unit are many other inspirational opportunities for play, one being the always popular zip line running alongside the playground. There is the exhilarating Multi pondo and the dynamic Maypole is another thrilling piece, with its angled rotator allowing the children to build up speed while rotating through the air.
The playground also has much needed play provision for the younger children in the community. There is a mini bird’s nest swing allowing a few toddlers to experience the swing at one time. Movement for the toddlers continues throughout the site in dynamic dish rotator, accessible roundabout, Lucky the Ladybird bug springer, rotating saddle seat and a wooden trim trail for all ages.
Miracle Design and Play while working together with Wiltshire County Council have recently opened a thrilling new playground in Stallard Street Recreation ground. The project was realised through using some of the councils recent 1.1 million pound government grant. The New playground has revitalised the play facilities for the park and fits alongside the skate park.
The new playground is sure to attract children of all ages with its two impressive multi units. The larger being a challenging youth unit with a 6ft 6 centre stage maximising the challenge and opportunities for play, with an exhilarating spiral slide coming from the deck. There are also many climbers leading to the deck each providing their own unique challenges and then moving across a cargo net bridge into a 4m Webscape climber.
Within the youth area there is also a Maypole providing fantastic dynamic movement through its angled rotator, allowing the children to get up great speed, developing exciting flowing play. There are also a set of three swings that can be enjoyed by all.
The toddler multi unit is a colourful experience allowing for development and discovery for the younger children. It has many varied climbers including a climbing wall, tot rock climber leading into two exciting slides, one a large side-by-side slide for combined play and the other a smaller single slide. There are more opportunities for discovery, with the popular Miracle talk tubes and the two colourful springers.
